The Korean girl group, ‘TWICE’ is one of the most successful girl groups. They were one of the earliest groups to be created from a reality show in South Korea. The origins of ‘TWICE’ started in the reality show named Sixteen back on 2015. JYP Entertainment formed the 9 member group and they debuted on 20th October 2015. Their debut EP was titled ‘The Story Begins’. However, they tasted huge commercial success in 2016 with the single ‘Cheer Up’. This song also won them 2 ‘Song Of The Year’ awards. This was only the beginning of their success story. The K-pop group released 2 studio albums, and 7 extended plays that have topped music charts in South Korea and Japan. The girls from ‘TWICE’ have become household names, not just for their music talent but also for their individuality, their choreography etc. They have been dubbed as Korea’s  “Nation’s Girl Group” and “Top-trend Girl Group”. In 2017, TWICE was listed in Forbes Korea Power Celebrity at number 3. They have many more such accomplishments to their credit in their career till now.
